General

Course Description
Prerequisites:  English 160, 161, Mathematics 210.
Grading and Academic Integrity
Grading:  Grades will be based on:

Short Writing Exercises, Class Attendance        25%
Essays (3)                                                           75%
Academic Integrity:  Class discussion, and discussion among students, will be encouraged. However, you are responsible for understanding and following the University's policies on academic integrity. Copying work to be submitted for grade, or allowing work to be submitted for grade to be copied, will result in the grade of 0 for the written work pending satisfactory explanation.

Comments  

a)  There will be short writing exercises assigned on a range of topics. 
b)  Class attendance and class participation is expected.
c)  The three essays are to be five or six double spaced typewritten pages in length. All must be completed in order to receive a passing grade for the course.
