Location and Registration:

For the May 3 symposium at UIC, registration, all sessions and the dinner will be held at the Chicago Circle Center (CCC) on the East Side of campus at 750 S. Halsted Street.

Beginning at noon, you may pick up your participant packet at the registration table on the third floor Conference Center. To reach the Conference Center take the escalator from the first floor, then walk south towards the Inner Circle, and take the escalator to the third floor Conference Center. You may purchase parking stickers at registration (see below).

If you would like to have lunch before the symposium begins at 1 P.M., you can purchase lunch in the Cafeteria on the first floor of CCC or in the Inner Circle located on the second floor of CCC.

East side of campus

From the north

Take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) to the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) westbound and keep to the right; take the first exit from the Eisenhower Expressway, which is Morgan Street; then take Morgan Street south one block to the campus.

From the west

Take the (I-290) Eisenhower Expressway to the Racine Avenue exit; then go south to Harrison Street and east to the campus.

From the east

Take Harrison Street or Roosevelt Road; if you take Roosevelt Road, go west to Halsted Street and turn north to the campus.

From the south

Take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94) and exit on Roosevelt Road (1200 south); go west on Roosevelt Road to Halsted Street; then go north on Halsted Street to the campus.

Public Transportation Directions:

The UIC campus is served by the CTA's Blue Line (O'Hare/Forest Park and 54/Cermak branches) rapid transit trains and several bus routes. West-side train service includes stops at the handicapped-accessible 54/Cermak train Polk Street station and the O'Hare/Forest Park train Medical Center station. East-side train service includes both O'Hare/Forest Park and 54/Cermak stops at Racine and UIC/Halsted stations. Connections to all other CTA rail lines can be made in the Chicago Loop. Parking Information:

Parking is available in the Halsted/Taylor Parking Structure (HTPS) at the corner of Halsted and Taylor, with entrances on Polk and Taylor streets. Parking stickers, to attach to your parking ticket, may be purchased for $5.00 at registration. Please bring correct change or a check payable to UIC-IMSE. Parking fees are paid when exiting the parking lot.
