Masters of Science in Mathematics with an Emphasis in Industrial Mathematics

The goal of the program is to develop modeling and problem solving skills, communication skills, the ability to work with others and in interest in and knowledge of applications of mathematics.

  Students are required to take courses in some other department besides mathematics, but the other departments are not otherwise formally involved in the program.

  This is a newly formed program. The first student graduated in May of 2001.
