How Uri Peled maintains his MSCS vita from his home Windows machine.

  Using Ttssh, login to math.uic.edu as peled.

  cd ~mscsinfo/vitas/peled (this is really /home/8/mscsinfo/vitas/peled).

  make mine (this "checks out" peled.tex and peled.ref).

  make (this generates publist.tex from peled.ref and runs tex on the vita).

  Using WS_FTP, login to math.uic.edu.

  Navigate to /home/8/mscsinfo/vitas/peled.

  Download the files peled.tex, peled.ref, and publist.tex to the local
  directory on Windows.

  In Windows, edit publist.tex and remove the "\TMACLIB" in line 4.

  TeX (not LaTeX) peled.tex, examine dvi file, correct and repeat
  until good.

  Back to WS_FTP, Upload the files peled.tex and peled.ref (no
  need to upload publist.tex).

  Back to Ttssh, make (this regenerates publist.tex from peled.ref and runs tex
  on the vita).

  make done (this "checks in" peled.tex and peled.ref and cleans
  the files).
