Joe Fields has prepared a LaTeX class which works like the letter class, but generates a letter on MSCS letterhead. As with the plain TeX macros you must have the Palatino-Roman Postscript fonts installed as virtual fonts in your TeX package. This requires a macro file that creates the mscsltr class, and graphics files for the UIC logo. The graphic is available both as a postscript file (for use with LaTeX/dvips) and as a pdf file (for use with pdflatex).
