Arrival by Car
The UIC East Campus is accessible from the Dan Ryan Expressway, via the Taylor Street/Roosevelt Road exits from either the north or south directions. The SEO building is near the corner of Morgan & Taylor Streets. Directions can be found here. There are three options for Visitor Parking Parking Lot at NE corner of Taylor & Halsted Streets (about $12/day) Parking Lot at SE corner of Taylor & Morgan Streets (about $12/day) Along Roosevelt Road (be warned, the ticket givers are very generous)
Arrival by Public Transportation
The CTA Blue Line has a UIC/Halsted stop, which is just north of campus. Cost $2.25. The CTA #8 Bus stops on Halsted at the UIC student union building. The #8 bus runs north to Lakeview. Arrival by Plane
From O'Hare: The CTA Blue Line departs from near the luggage area, and stops on campus (UIC/Halsted exit). Cost $2.25. From O'Hare: Taxis are available outside the luggage area at the Taxi Stands. Cost $40 or so. From Midway: The CTA Orange Line departs from the Midway Transportation Center, then you must transfer to a Bus or the Blue Line in the Loop. Cost $2.25-2.50. See CTA Trip Planner. From Midway: Taxis are available at the Taxi Stands. Cost $20 or more, probably.
