Eligibility:- Undergraduate or graduate students in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science
- Preference given to women
- Minimum of 60 semester hours completed at UIC (junior standing)
- Must be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA.
- Minimum of eight credit hours completed in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science
The recipient must be able to attend the LAS Recognition Dinner on Thursday evening, November 7 (tentative date). The recipient will need to prepare thank you remarks for when he/she receives their award. He/she will be able to bring one guest. Business attire is required.

The Nicholas A. Yassan Award is supported by a fund created by Nicholas A. Yassan, an MSCS graduate, class of 2003. The award is given annually to a junior in the MSCS department. Preference is given to women students.
