Homework: A sheet of problems will be distributed at the end of each week, for discussion during the next three class meetings. All students are expected to work on each homework problem individually, prior to class.

Class time: Henceforth, lectures will be restricted to the first 10 minutes of class, during which I will review the problems that were worked on, and give hints for some of the harder problems. The remainder of class time will be spent working in assigned groups, on the problems of the week.

Grading: By the end of each week, each group should agree on which solution to turn in for each problem, and then hand in one solution set per group.

Course Grade: As exam #1 is over, and you were told that this would count toward 20% of your course grade, that policy will not change. However, your remaining grades will be weighted as follows: Exam 2 20 %, Final Exam 20%, weekly problem sheets 40%.
