College Preparatory Mathematics Program

Participating Schools

From 1993 to 1996, major funding from the National Science Foundation enabled the establishment of the College Preparatory Mathematics Program (CPMP) at three university sites:

Kenosha, WI 53141
(414) 595-2171
carr@cs.uwp.edu or skoglund@cs.uwp.edu

These sites, together with their participating high schools, formed clusters for in-service training and other activities, expanding UIC's CPMP, which had been in operation since 1990.

Teachers and students from many Chicago area and southern Wisconsin schools participated in our program over a six year period. Currently, teachers who participated in at least one CPMP Summer Institute can be found at the following schools:

Many teachers can be reached by e-mail; there is an e-mail list (teachmat@listserv.uic.edu) that reaches many of those who are active on the internet.

If you would like information about the CPMP classes at any of these schools (or would simply like to communicate with one of the teachers about their experiences in CPMP) contact jbaldwin@uic.edu, or one of the other above directors, for a teacher's address.
