Content: |
This course provides the mathematical background needed for calculus: Logarithms, radicals, graphing of rational functions, complex numbers, trigonometry, DeMoivre's formula,
theory of equations, sequences, systems of linear equations.

Calculator: |
Use of a graphing
calculator will be an integral part of the course. The instructor and TAs will be using the TI-82 or TI-83. Any graphing calculator you now own will probably be adequate.

Homework: |
Homework assigned on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will be due the following Tuesday.
