Course Description: The design, analysis and use and of mathematical, statistical, and scientific software.
Prerequisite: Grade of B or better in MCS 360 360 Introduction to Data Structures or MCS 471 Numerical Analysis or an equivalent course, or consent of instructor.

Comments: This is a new course that is a core course in the proposed new Master of Science Degree program in Mathematics and Information Sciences for Industry (MISI), which is expected to become official for Fall 2000, since MISI has finally been approved by the IBHE on 01 February 2000. Since this is the first offering of MCS507, this course is under initial development.
