Who are the key personnel?
The key personnel include:
Kathryn Chval is Co-Director. Chval has been
Associate Director of the Maneuvers with Mathematics (MWM) project since
1989. She is also Co-Director of the UIC-America Counts Project
Philip Wagreich is a Co-Principal Investigator. Wagreich, Professor of
Mathematics at the University
of Illinois at Chicago
(UIC), is also the Director of UIC's Institute for Mathematics and
Science Education, and a Principal Investigator of several major
curriculum and teacher enhancement projects, including the Teaching
Integrated Mathematics and Science (TIMS) Project.
Dibyen Majumdar is a Co-Principal Investigator and a Professor in
UIC's Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. He is
also the Director of the Statistical Laboratory at UIC.
