Manipulatives List: Grade 5

Following are the manipulatives for fifth grade. There are several categories of manipulatives listed here:

Manufactured Manipulatives: a list of each of the manipulatives needed to implement fully the Math Trailblazers curriculum. Many of these manipulatives may be available already in your classroom or school.

Manipulatives which you need can be purchased:
  • in kit form from Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company;
  • in a kit configuration which allows sharing between classrooms from Kendall/Hunt;
  • or as individual items from your manipulatives supplier.

Please contact Kendall/Hunt directly for additional information.

Other materials are needed for the successful implementation of the Math Trailblazers curriculum for the entire year. These materials are listed in three categories to aid in planning for the year:

  • Consumables (edible or one-use items such as beans, paper towels, etc.)
  • Collectibles (throwaway items such as magazines, egg cartons, jars, etc.)
  • School Supplies (items usually available in classrooms such as tape, glue, markers, etc.)
