From 2015-2017 I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Coastal Hazards Research Section of the Disaster Prevention Research Institute at Kyoto University.

I received a PhD in Applied Mathematics in June 2015. My research interests include numerical methods for PDEs and ODEs, chaotic dynamical systems, and computational fluid dynamics, especially with applications in geophysics and climate modeling. I wrote my dissertation with Rafail Abramov on reduced models for multiscale chaotic ODE systems using linear response theory.

PhD thesis: Model reduction and fluctuation response in two-timescale systems.

Here is my curriculum vitae (PDF).

Here's a pre-print of a paper based on my dissertation (to be published 2016): "The response of reduced models of multiscale dynamics to small external perturbations."

Graduate Numerical Methods seminar (2011).
