The Fall 1998 Midwest Partial Differential Equations Seminar will be held at the University of Illinois at Chicago,
October 30 - November 1, 1998. There will be two talks on Friday afternoon,
then probably five talks on Saturday and a couple on Sunday. There will
also be a round table discussion, requested by the NSF, probably over
lunch, to consider the directions that partial differential equations might most profitably take in the next years. The results of this discussion will be communicated to the NSF.
Speakers
Speakers include: Antonio Bove, David Catlin, John P. D'Angelo,
Gabor Francsics, Nicholas Hanges, J.J. Kohn, Fernando Reitich, Daniel Tataru, and Francois Treves.
