Smallest Institution: 900 students at Hollins College, a small women’s school in Roanoke, Virginia.

Largest Institution: over 35,000 students at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.

Six of the institutions have student populations that are over 50% African-Americans.

Six of the institutions have student populations that are over 10% Hispanic Students.

Four of the institutions have student populations that are over 6% Native American or Alaskan Natives.

Six of the institutions are primarily for women. At an additional five institutions, over two-thirds of the student body are women.
