Languages
I have an interest in ancient languages written in the cuneiform script. In particular I have read texts in Akkadian, Hittite, Sumerian, and Hurrian.
I have also taught courses in ancient Mesopotamian literature in translation. These courses include the Epic of Gilgamesh, one of the world's great stories from ancient times.
