PTO NEWS

2005/2006 PTO MEETING DATES: All meetings begin at 8:30 AM in the Parish Center, 3rd floor. Babysitting will be provided in the room next door, but children are always welcome.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

SCHOOL CHECKS: Please do not use staples in any checks you send to the School (i.e. hot lunch, special activities, tuition, etc.). The checks that have staple holes get stuck in the bank machine.

VOLUNTEERS: All volunteers at the school during the day must check-in at the office. Please stop at the office first, before you go to any other building. Again, this helps to ensure the safety of our children. Color-coded badges will be in the school office for all PTO volunteers. Each committee has its own badges (e.g. hot lunch, art awareness, great books, etc.). There are also some general PTO volunteer badges if specific committee badges are in use. Please check in at the school office before volunteering for any activity.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION: Don't forget to collect box tops for education. Once collected, you may place the coupons in the indicated box in the primary building lobby. Our school receives 10 cents for every top sent in.

TRAFFIC: Traffic is a concern for all of us. PLEASE follow the road rules when dropping off and picking up students. It is imperative for the safety of our children that all of us follow the rules...noexceptions!!!

Please let PTO know if we can be of assistance to you or your student(s) - we're here to help!

WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS. PLEASE LEAVE A NOTE IN THE PTO SCHOOL OFFICE MAILBOX

BE INVOLVED!!

We want you to be connected to the school! Let us know what you're interested in and we'll help you find a way to get involved! The PTO provides programs for classroom enrichment and family social events. There are currently 26 committees within PTO. We are fortunate to have a school with terrific parent involvement. The committee names and descriptions are listed below.

Interested in helping on a committee but not on a regular basis? Call the committee co-chair and ask to be put on a substitute list.

Have the co-chair itch? We still have single co-chairs
