St. Giles School celebrated their first all school liturgy of the year on September 9. At the end of the liturgy, Fr. Dore called the teachers to the front of the church to receive a blessing and a small gift. New students and teachers were also called forth to receive a blessing from the assembly. The eighth grade choir, under the direction of Ms. Kaszynski and Mrs. Larsen, led the singing. This choir will be singing at the 8:30 mass on Wednesdays during the school year.
The school students gathered on the playground
on the afternoon of September 9th to show their spirit with cheers
performed by each grade level. The eighth grade dazzled their
schoolmates with their cheer. Father Dore and Mrs Poetzel agreed
that if students raised this year's goal, they will "Move
it" to the rooftop. That is, Father Dore and Mrs. Poetzel
will spend a day on the roof of St. Giles. Get those pledges
