Quantum Link Invariants
Abstract: This talk is a second talk about quantum link invariants. It will be self-contained. Quantum link invariants are the class of link invariants (such as the Jones polynomial, Kauffman bracket polynomial, Homflypt polynomial, and others) that can be modeled and computed by using solutions to the Yang-Baxter equation. These invariants are central to the development of new invariants in the theory of knots and links and to the development of categorified link invariants.
