Mathematics, Statistics, Teaching of Mathematics, and Mathematics & Computer Science (MCS) Majors can apply for a variety of Awards, Prizes & Awards! Some are for MSCS Majors only, and others are open to the wider LAS or UIC undergraduate community. Look over the lists linked below - it pays to apply: you can't win if you don't apply!

Departmental Scholarships
The MSCS Department offers a variety of scholarships, restricted to Mathematics, Statistics, Teaching of Mathematics, and Mathematics & Computer Science (MCS) majors only.

UIC Scholarships
Each spring the Office of External Fellowships (OEF), formerly known as the Office of Special Scholarship Programs (OSSP) ,offers scholarships for current UIC students. MSCS majors are eligible for many of these awards. Application deadlines are in February. LAS Scholarships
Each year LAS awards nearly 20 scholarships to UIC students in good academic standing, in LAS and out, in majors from Chemistry to Sociology, with financial need and without. Awards range from \$600 to \$10,000.
- Application deadlines are in mid-February.
- Submit applications via the Campus-wide scholarship and award application system SnAP.
