Welcome to the UIC Undergraduate Math Club for AY 2017-2018!

The Math Club meets on Wednesdays at 3 PM in SEO 300 (the Math Commons Room). Anyone can drop by.

If you are interested in participating in student activities or giving a short (10- to 45-minute) math-related presentation, please speak with a member of the board at any club meeting.

Putnam Team Classes

The Putnam Team meets on Wednesdays 4-5pm, in SEO 300.

Here is more information about the William Lowell Putnam Exam, the U.S. national mathematics contest.

The Putnam Team practices all year for this national competition, held in December. Anyone is welcome to come to practices. Try some Putnam problems!

Here is more information about the Illinois Section of the Mathematical Association of America (ISMAA) Spring 2016 math contest. This state math contest for undergraduates takes place on April 8-9. It's a nice stepping stone to the Putnam exam in December.
