Topics

This course is a continuation to abstract algebra I. It includes material in Galois theory, Introduction to Algebraic Geometry and Homological Algebra and Representation theory of Finite Groups. It will cover Chapters 12  
and Chapters 13-19 of the text 

Grading and Homework

Grades will be based on three midterms and homework problems assigned at regular intervals. Problems may be assigned during classes or will be posted on this site. Most, but not all problems, will be
coming from the book.
