Orientations and p-adic Analysis
Abstract: Ando constructed power operations for the Lubin-Tate cohomology theories. Moreover, he was able to produce a necessary and sufficient condition for a complex orientation to be compatible with these power operations. The recent obstruction theory for orientations due to Ando, Hopkins, and
Rezk applies to K-Theory. We use the language of Bernoulli numbers and measures on a formal group to show the equivalence of these two descriptions for complex $p$-adic K-Theory.
