Origami in all dimensions
Abstract: I will describe a general topological model of solid objects arranged in
space. The goal is to weaken the conditions of isometricity and injectivity
so that objects can bend and touch. I will extend the idea to model
continuous motions through space. The general framework can be applied to
many interesting cases such as origami and knitting, as well as more
bizarre situations occurring in strange spaces.
