numerical conditioning of witness sets
Abstract: Witness sets are numerical representations of algebraic sets.
We can use intrinsic or extrinsic coordinates to represent witness sets.
Recent joint work with Yun Guan showed that local intrinsic coordinates
lead to improved condition numbers.
