Tate objects and algebraic K-theory: an overview
Abstract: In this talk I will give an overview of the theory of Tate objects. We
will discuss interactions of the theory of Tate objects with the algebraic
K-theory of algebraic varieties, and take the point of view that Tate
objects describe the geometry of our variety near a flag of subvarieties.
