Moduli of algebraic varieties
Abstract: A basic goal of algebraic geometry is to form a well-behaved (e.g. Hausdorff) moduli space of some class of well-behaved algebraic varieties. I will discuss one solution to this problem which uses ideas from Kähler geometry, namely the theory of constant scalar curvature Kähler metrics. This is joint work with Philipp Naumann.
