Modular compactifications of multiplicative quiver varieties and pure cohomology
Abstract: We will discuss recent work with Tom Nevins on constructing modular compactifications of multiplicative quiver varieties, which then carry natural extensions of tautological bundles. These compactifications allow one to show that the pure cohomology of multiplicative quiver varieties is generated by the Chern classes of tautological bundles following in part a strategy of Markman.
