The Gonality Theorem for Curves
Abstract: We discuss Ein and Lazarsfeld's proof of the Gonality Conjecture. We will present Voisin's interpretation of Koszul cohomology via the Hilbert scheme, the duality theorem, and the cohomological techniques required for the proof.
