Polish groups of bounded geometry
Abstract: We shall present a characterisation and various results concerning the class of Polish groups of bounded geometry, i.e., groups coarsely equivalent to proper metric spaces. As the extent of this class is still somewhat unclear, several fundamental questions remain open, in particular as related to earlier work of Gromov and Eskin, Fisher and Whyte.
