Thurston's Compactification of Teichmüller Space
Abstract: Following the 2011 paper Degenerations of Hyperbolic Structures on Surfaces by C. J. Leininger, we explain Thurston's compactification of Teichmüller Space. Along the way we will define the basic concepts pertaining to said compactification, including measured foliations and laminations.
