Modeling the Multilayer Grow-Or-Go Model for Glioblastoma Multiforme
Abstract: An existing model for understanding the growth of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) takes into account its multilayer structure which consists of proliferative, invasive, and necrotic cells. It expresses the growth of a tumor in a host environment during ideal conditions in an attempt to find methods of suppressing the growth. During numerical simulations of the system, certain adjustments were made which could potentially improve the model's ability to represent the growth while still leaving the model solvable.
