Examining Interaction Patterns in College-Level Mathematics Classes: A Case Study
Abstract: We will discuss the paper by Susan Nickerson and Janet Bowers on interaction patterns in math classes. We will try to understand and discuss the ERE (elicitation-response-elaboration) and PD (proposition-discussion) patterns. As usual, everyone is welcome to attend the seminar! No prior reading is required.
